I doubt this "elbycdio.sys" kernel driver is part of the game installation...

Please make sure you don't install other stuff (games, app) into same
WINEPREFIX while providing test logs as it interferes with original problem.

If you need to work with other stuff in the meanwhile, install the game in a
separate WINEPREFIX (other than default ~/.wine) and run it from there...

Please rerun the game using "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n" wine
Mercenaries2.exe" from clean WINEPREFIX and post terminal output again.
