Hi Sasha, really installs fine? You did not hit bug 18959?


Anyway, looking in AppDB reveals "MetaEditor shows black squares" in 1.1.21 and
same user filled bug 18530.

I can say from my testing, that all the following versions fails:
 * 1.1.25, 1.1.26, 1.1.27, 1.1.28, 1.1.35 and 1.1.35-364-g9dc584d


But you can easily workaround that by "winetricks corefonts". Consider
