I'm using the i686 packages of wine in fedora:

]$ rpm -q -a | grep wine
wine-nas-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-capi-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-cms-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-common-1.1.35-1.fc12.noarch
wine-pulseaudio-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-devel-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-core-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-alsa-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-debuginfo-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-twain-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-desktop-1.1.35-1.fc12.noarch
wine-ldap-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-openal-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-fonts-1.1.35-1.fc12.noarch
wine-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-jack-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-oss-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686
wine-esd-1.1.35-1.fc12.i686

no x86_64 package there... what is the PE related to?

I've tried both removing the ~/.wine folder and installing the game under a
different prefix, no luck.
