I am having this problem also. I am using Puppy Linux 4.31 with wine 1.1.28.
I have installed all the wine tricks. The sound actually works in the program
on the volume control, but when loading any exercises, I get the following
error:
MCI Error: There is an undetectable problem in loading the specified device
driver.
If I ignore the problem, the program continues, but gives the following error
anytime a sound is to be played:
Error: Media not open
The program is TalkNow 2002, by eurotalkinteractive. It is the Learn Navajo
edition. This disc is flawless, as it is new despite its age, so i can rule
out a disc error. Please reopen this bug, I will contribute as much as
possible to help fix this.
