I can confirm this. Installed Civ4 Complete by DVD, yesterday, clean wine
1.1.32 install. Install hanged, so I waited for five-ten minutes and did check
if anything was changed on disk with df.

It wasn't so then I just killed the dxsetup process and everything strolled
along fine installation wise.
