Well, I finally got this one running with the patch provided by Andras Kovacs
(tanks a bunch for that one!). Seems to be working well besides the utterly bad
performance, some minor graphic glitches and the fact that I'm forced to run it
in windowed mode (wont start without that switch).

Currently running the game with the following command line (just -safemode
might do the same but I want my resolution):

"WINEDEBUG=-all nice -20 aoss wine LaunchGTAIV.exe -renderquality 0
-shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -novblank
-width 1440 -height 900 -frameLimit 1 -refreshrate 60 -windowed -percentvidmem
100 -minspecaudio -nomemrestrict"

Any tips on how to improve the performance would be highly appreciated!
