I also can reproduce it on freebsd RELEASE8.0-p3 amd64
i tried the following versions of wine:
1.2.r4; 1.1.41, 1.1.36

Henri's patches for SC2 and native wldap32.dll didn't help. doesn't matter what
i use: opengl or directX
