This is starting to look outdated...

I used to play Guild Wars under Wine 1.1.3x, w/o glitches of this kind using
fglrx

I have had this type of problem before in F.E.A.R. and Team Fortress 2 (under
Windows).  I deduced it to be an overheating issue while the video card was
under prolonged heavy load.  Simplest solution first, dust out the case.

I will try to get my password reset, until then can anyone else retest with
current Wine and maybe current fglrx 10.6??
