--- Comment #12 from Daniel Lee <leed_public at hotmail.com> 2010-07-26 19:43:15 ---
Troubleshooting:

- Remembered that TGB supports drawing the interface in D3D as well as OpenGL.
Ran TGB and checked default render. It is OpenGL. Switched it to D3D.
Performance was slow, but the problem went away. In fact, the moment I changed
to D3D in TGB, the black screen started working again. When I switched back to
OpenGL, the screen immediately turned black again.

- Ran TGB from the command line, and then exited. Got following output.

fixme:imm:ImmReleaseContext ((nil), 0x12ca40): stub
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32bbdc,0x00000000), stub!
fixme:ddraw:DirectDrawEnumerateExA flags 0x00000007 not handled
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32b730,0x00000000), stub!
