what is the buffer_size and period_size used by PA server when it open the
playback device of your sound card ?

when PA server is opening the playback device

cat /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/sub0/hw_params 

or

open a terminal 
pulseaudio -k;pulseaudio -vvvvv
