I made some tests to the related bug 4523 so i post my results here too:

setup:
wine-1.2-rc2-4-g2570ed1
A: firefox 3.6.3 in wine
B: openoffice 3.0.0 in wine
C: firefox 3.6.3 native
D: openoffice 3.2.0 native

from A to B, B to D and A to D works like a charm!

from D to B and C to B works not


from D to B i get
err:clipboard:X11DRV_CLIPBOARD_ReadSelectionData Timed out waiting for
SelectionNotify event
err:clipboard:X11DRV_CLIPBOARD_RenderFormat Failed to cache clipboard data
owned by another process. Format=c00b
fixme:ntdll:NtLockFile I/O completion on lock not implemented yet

from C to B i get no errors
