A screenshot with wine 1.1.32 and DejaVu Sans menu font

I use wine 1.1.32 and it's definitely better, but the antialiasing is
completely disabled now, thus the problem is, um, kind of masked. Also note the
ugly font rendering on the attached screenshot: I tried the same font in GIMP
and it renders fine at any size even if I disable the "hinting" and
"antialiasing" checkboxes.

I'm not sure how WINE renders fonts, but it looks GIMP renders same fonts at
same sizes with same options much better,
