Please reopen this bug!

This has regressed in 1.2rc3

The Neverhood will play just fine if sound is muted, but with sound on videos
won't play or play extremely slowly and the game uses >90% of the CPU.

Since the game opens with a video, this renders the entire game unplayable.

As this bug may affect other games I think it would be a good idea to take a
look at what's happening.
