Even after a re-install of Linux Ubuntu 9.04 and Eudora 7.1.0.9 and two
different printers, the problem existed.

This week, I installed Ubuntu 10.04 (clean install, not as an upgrade, so I
formatted the harddisk and installed all software from scratch) and Eudora
7.1.0.9.  Version of Wine: 1.1.42.

The problem is solved, well, at least for me.  I can print without problems
from Eudora, and the prints even look good.
