disabling "Full-Screen Glow Effect" fixes the black login screen and black
graphics. (tested on ubuntu 10.04 wine 1.2-rc3)

not sure about the screenshots, but this bug was marked a dupe of the other
black screen bugs, so I'm reporting here instead.
