Any progress?  

Additionally, has anyone tested Flash 10.1 series?   

According to Adobe some legacy code was removed in Flash 10.1 as it was causing
stability and potential security issues.  These code segments may also be
related to the quirk that is causing a bug with wine.  This would especially be
so if the "thread safe" theory was correct, as the older versions very well
could have presumed that all libraries were thread safe, when they very well
might not be.
