My WC3 version is 1.24e, so it should not check the CD.

However, from time to time during the launch of WC3 I do get the error that
CD/DVD drive not found. Sometimes it continues to launch normally if I press
the Retry button, sometimes I should press it again a couple of times,
sometimes I become tired of pressing this button and try to restart the WC3.
The probability to get this CD error on launch is about 20-30%.

Seemingly this CD error started to emerge in wine 1.2-rc1, but it was not
present in wine 1.1.30 and 1.1.40. Though I will to check this again.
