After several days of trying, I've finally been able to get in to play! 

My system and uname -a:

Slackware 13.1, Wine 1.2-rc5, NVIDIA Driver version 256.35, Asus M4A79T Deluxe,
4G ram, EVga GeForce 9800 GT, 512M ram.

Linux spoofer2 2.6.33.4-smp #2 SMP Wed May 12 22:47:36 CDT 2010 i686 AMD
Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
