I had just the minimal set of dlls installed : vcrun2005, vcrun2008 and msxml6

It doesn't really crash : so there was no backtrace : solidworks closes and
display a window saying that there was a problem, do you want to send the log
to solidworks corp, and restart the app ?...

wine log ends up with just :

Anyway, the problem was solved by Austin's patch.
