Henri found one last thing that would cause a problem with the gl_vendor
detection due to my moving the gl_info-based Apple detection code into it
before that information is obtained. So I have to figure out how to fix that
correctly. If this really is the last thing, then I would expect it will get
committed. I don't know when 1.1.40 is scheduled though, so I don't know if it
will make it in time (I won't have time to get to it until tonight, and so it
probably won't be processed until tomorrow at the earliest). I would prefer if
it could make it in.
