I was able to fix the issue thanks to a person named Brian on the opensuse
forums. 
What I did was replace my config.wtf file [after backing it up] with his, and
just redoing all of my settings. I still get read errors sometimes, for skins,
or land texture errors, but it seems to resolve itself overnight after a shut
down. I am still not sure what exactly causes it, but replacing the .wtf file
actually brought me from getting an error and getting it fixed from getting an
error and NOTHING working. I don't know what else to think, but at least I can
play WoW.

This bug will now be marked as resolved.
