You only get incompatibility when you upgrade your filesystems or pool. I don't
bother with zfs upgrade or zpool upgrade unless I need to, just so I can roll
back if need be. :) It would have been nice to see what the results would have
been under older versions of Xorg and the nvidia driver...

For giggles, does glxgears work?

I'm somewhat curious as to what is happening that you see a black screen and I
see white. (Yes, I've corrected OpenSolaris Bugster bug 6912450 on my system.
;) ) All I can think of is that I'm on build 130 and there was an nvidia driver
update between 130 and 134.
