This is CoD4 v1.7 (should be latest patch), without steam.
I have Nvidia binary drivers v195.30. I can downgrade to 190.53 if you think
it's worth it.
It was a dummy multiplayer game : i launched a server locally and joined the
game on my own to test your patchet. The game kept crashing until patch 6,
where both the crash and "my" hands disappeared... :-)

About the OpenGL errors, I'll check tonight and report.
Please tell me if you need something else.
