No such issues here, using Wine-1.1.41 and a Nvidia card (the game needs only
native d3dx9_36.dll). No major rendering issues for me, tried with both
fullscreen and virtual desktop mode.

Have you installed the game into a clean /.wine directory or just upgraded from
an older wine version (as indicated in your attachment's 4th line)? What
graphic card and driver was used?

Fedora 12 x86
Wine-1.1.41 from source
Nvidia 7600 GT with driver 195.36.08
