OK, the version numbers are drowned deep in my report, that's true =;)

Bug present in Wine version 1.1.36 with "The Heat of War" (I don't have it
installed anymore, can't check with 1.1.41).

Bug also present in Wine version 1.1.41 with "Call of Duty 2", but I've played
that game through WITHOUT the "ghost mouse" with Wine version 1.1.28, that
means that the bug appears in a version of Wine between the 1.1.28 and 1.1.36
and is still there in 1.1.41.

mmh, you confirm then the feeling I've had that it might not be related, I will
try to analyse deeper my logs...
