Damn. :( Yeah, that setting is what I meant.

That would support Full acceleration, yes (plenty of voices for secondary
buffers, and has EAX for hardware effects). It wouldn't really help Wine,
though. The current drivers are a dead-end, and I don't believe ALSA supports
the controls necessary for handling the DSound API properly (it certainly
doesn't expose any EAX controls).
