Can not get backtrace because 1.1.44 compiled from source has problems with
MSVC80 CRT. It can not find msvcp80.dll, 'sh winetricks vcrun2005' does not
help (looks like wine doesn't care about winsxs, copying dlls from there to
system32 only leads to error window saying 'application has made an attempt to
load C runtime library improperly'). Fedora 1.1.44 doesn't have any problems
with msvc.
