I found something unusual which might give a hint as to the nature of the
problem.

I ran wine (1.2-rc1) with WINEDEBUG=+menu turned on, and when I click on the
Assets tab it looks like it's trying to access the File menu (ie with entries
File, Edit, Lists, Command Centres, Setup, Reports, Window, Help). But the
Assets tab is nowhere near this menu, so I don't think it should be hitting
this code. When I press the space bar to make it correctly switch to the Assets
tab, I get a bunch of "fixme:font:SetMapperFlags (0x5c8, 0x00000000): stub -
harmless" messages, which seem to happen whenever it refreshes the screen.

If I click on the Assets tab and then another tab (eg Liability, Equity, etc),
there are no further debug messages. If I click on Assets and then press space
and then click on another tab, I get the menu debug messages again for the File
menu.
