The problem is still present in wine-1.2-rc1-108-g5d4a743. It seems BreakQuest
does some sort of hooking such that opening files with a particular path syntax
causes a mapping to game data files in some manner. My guess is that builtin
msvcrt behaves in an unintended manner within this scenario.
