No such problem, 8 cores CPU here and works fine here now. Tested:

 * NFS MW v1.3 + crack (has SafeDisc v4.60 :-/)
 * wine-1.2-rc1-142-ga72f3f3
 * nVidia GT240 195.36.24
 * kernel 2.6.33.3 (patched ~ bug 20380)

i.e. FIXED.

BTW: Why vendor says OpenGL 3.1 and glxinfo says OpenGL 3.2.0???
