This no longer seems to be a problem with Wine 1.2-rc2 on Arch Linux 2.6.33.

Someone might check against a Windows install for irregularities in the
Player's rendering or something, I don't seem to have any play/pause controls
or timelines, but haven't checked Windows to see if I am supposed to.
