I have the same bug, image freezes and sound loops, except after a while (about
10 seconds), the game continue and the game doesn't crash. Maybe you have to
wait, wine was loading something, my computer is fast and maybe that's why the
freeze is not so long ? I had this bug since the beginning and I didn't care
because TF2 didn't crash.

Intel Q9550 @ 3,7Ghz
8Go DDR2
GeForce GTX275
TF2 on raid0 disk.
