Nope:) I've got a 24" Samsung SyncMaster T240.

I don't have this issue on any Windows version. The game runs normal (fast) on
both XP and WIndows 7.
The problem I have on Windows is that the screen is completely black most of
the time - it draws the menu but not the background. In-game it draws the UI
sometimes but never the overview itself. I'm almost certain this is a bug in
ATIs Windows drivers and I already wrote them about it but got no reply yet. On
my old machine I had an Nvidia 8800GT card and the game raw flawlessly, I
played all the way through without any issues except a few crashes here and
there.

Patch 1.7 was meant to make the game compatible with Windows XP. Even so Wine
should be able to run Win98 apps just as good as it does Windows XP and newer.
