You are correct, sir. I have narrowed down my issues to outside the realm of
audio issues. Sorry to muddy up your bug report. In addition, I am able to
recreate the symptoms here and fix the issue with renaming the jukebox folder
and leaving the rest of the sounds active. It results in a malloc operation
error on:

Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 fresh install with wine 1.1.42.
