Yes, but this issue happens also on Windows, look at the Relic's forums:

And there's a savegame issue for the Dark Crusade an Winter Assault demos, wich
is fixed creating a "Profile" directory when it does not exist.

So, unlikely wine developers can fix what is brokeneven on Windows. So, maybe
we could mark this bug as wontfix?
