wine 1.3.6 compiled from git works, but uses tahoma.ttf instead of sserife.fon,
wine from fedora does the same (tested with 1.3.6 which is now available).
Played with the registry settings a little bit, but did not find why
sserife.fon is not used anymore. Fedora's wine does not use vgasys.fon for some
reason.

fonts loaded by wine 1.3.6 built from git (Oct 30):
/home/test/work/wine-git/fonts/tahoma.ttf
/home/test/work/wine-git/fonts/tahomabd.ttf
/home/test/work/wine-git/fonts/vgasys.fon
