--- Comment #7 from Austin English <austinenglish at gmail.com> 2010-11-23 20:29:19 CST ---
http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/a/d/5ad868a0-8ecd-4bb0-a882-fe53eb7ef348/VB6.0-KB290887-X86.exe

Using find/sha1sum/diff, seems only:
2537c1650ef3a23e27271693a85a6690582fb4df  ./system.reg
3d7a5a7fa43730b407bfa10b7ab57a91f6dfbfe6  ./user.reg
70db1fac822974bc9b636a984bcc1da2e67f8de5
./drive_c/windows/system32/MSVBVM60.DLL
72fb4f088c6ac02097b55fb267c76fbf5e0fa1f7
./drive_c/windows/system32/ASYCFILT.DLL

change before/after install.

Terminal shows:
err:setupapi:SetupDefaultQueueCallbackW copy error 0
L"C:\\users\\austin\\Temp\\IXP000.TMP\\OLEAUT32.DLL" ->
L"C:\\windows\\system32\\OLEAUT32.DLL"
err:setupapi:SetupDefaultQueueCallbackW copy error 0
L"C:\\users\\austin\\Temp\\IXP000.TMP\\OLEPRO32.DLL" ->
L"C:\\windows\\system32\\OLEPRO32.DLL"
err:setupapi:SetupDefaultQueueCallbackW copy error 0
L"C:\\users\\austin\\Temp\\IXP000.TMP\\STDOLE2.TLB" ->
L"C:\\windows\\system32\\STDOLE2.TLB"
err:setupapi:SetupDefaultQueueCallbackW copy error 0
L"C:\\users\\austin\\Temp\\IXP000.TMP\\COMCAT.DLL" ->
L"C:\\windows\\system32\\COMCAT.DLL"

e.g., the installer didn't overwrite the dlls wine already has (which probably
have a newer version, anyway).

The progress bard displays, albeit briefly. Based on previous comments, sounds
like this bug is fixed.
