Strangely though, if I compile with gcc from an older svn:
austin at midna:~$ gcc -v
Using built-in specs.

gcc version 4.6.0 20100908 (experimental) (GCC) 


I always hit this bug. I had to use gcc-4.4 to run the regression test.
