Warcraft III is definitely affected by this bug.
In the wine-1.2 + KDE-4.4.2 it is in fact impossible to reanimate its window
after alt+tab switch or minimize - it just hangs.
With the reverse patch from here applied, the Warcraft III window can be
restored always or almost always with kwin effects disabled, though it seems
still unrestorable with kwin enabled.
However, even when the window is restored, the desktop panels usually overlap
the game picture. I can further correct it by calling the window menu (alt+F3)
and forcing the window to become fullscreen (regardless it is in the fullscreen
mode already).
