Also, since the crash is happening on the login screen, in windows, add the
-console argument to the wow command line, and on the login screen, press the ~
key to bring up the console.

Then type 'cvarlist' to see the complete list of CVars, and look for the gxApi
line, I wonder if the login screen uses dx11 and maybe that is why its crashing
there?
