I really haven't been able to reproduce this.  I'm running DPP 3.8.1, on
gentoo, with wine 1.3.2, with the standard gentoo-provided package, with the
exception that the following additional patch is applied:

(Which I use because it solves bug # 17764 & 12001 for me).

I'm not sure if Gentoo is using vanilla source, or if it applies it's own
patches, but I could likely easily look into this.

Also, I could try the vanilla gentoo package without the above mentioned patch
if that is helpful.
