The issue that you had with Strange Cases is *extremely* similar to what I'm
seeing in several of the games sold in the "Mystery Masters" package.  "Mystery
Masters" is a collection of 15 seek-and-find games sold in the USA.  Turns out
they were also created by Alawar.  I only tried a few of the games.  While the
installation seemed to work fine, running the games produced messages that were
almost verbatim to what was seen in comment 6 above.

Has anyone found a way to run these games?
