Are you using Pulseaudio as an audio-system?
I had the same problem you reported and I fixed it by either disabling
pulseaudio (you need to deactivate the autospawn via the client.conf) or by
using a wine version with pulseaudio audio output module.

That way Ace of Spades had sound again.
