Just tried again under Linux with Firefox 3.6.16 and it works, so at this point
not sure if it's an FF4 or FF for Windows problem...

work either, for some reason.

Tried changing AppDB; to AppDB: but it made no difference.

You're right: the pre-filled text is just a nuisance.  It could be happily
"lost".
