Bug #6971 is about too many applications.  wine-1.3.19 makes the mouse work
very well with The Westerner.  It's even usable with poor on-board Intel
graphics now and does not need the newest Xorg: Ubuntu Intrepid (2008) works,
even with the in-game options menu.
