that means you dont use the  native amstream dll
to use it, (after regsvr32 amstream) cd to the repertory of the game, then
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amstream=n" wine foo.exe

where foo.exe is the name of the executable to start the game.

Anyway, can you change the component  of the game from unknown to amstream?
