I have try on Linux Mint 12 with wine 1.3 and 1.2 also last from ppa, empire
earth and expansion, with/wo d3dx9 directmusic, on new x display and not,
with/wo nvidia-setting load ecc...
There is always some problem, game not starting, sound not working, mouse not
work or not good resolution problem after starting game also in new x
display...
The best way i have found is wine 1.3.33 from ppa, nvidia last from ppa, d3dx9
and directmusic, empire earth with patch 2.0 and expansion, with starting
expansion on new x display with depth 16 and -a 150; intro and menu working in
fullscreen, sound not and mouse is very hard to control (unplayable), and on
strart game show only part of game windows but is on fullscreen, also with game
resolution minor then x display.
Someone can tell me how to resolve please?
Damian and Thomas can you tell me s.o., wine version and settings have?
