You need gstreamer support in Wine to play the videos (as well as the necessary
gstreamer plugins must be installed on your system). Videos in the game are in
wmv format.

The developer of the game has released a demo for Panzer Corps recently,
download link added to url. (the demo contains only the developer logo in wmv
format).
The video in the demo is playing fine here, tested with 1.3.28 and 1.3.34
(clean wineprefix).
