[Bug 21918] Alt key doesn't show menu in Notepad++

On native Linux applications on my Ubuntu setup, F10 and Alt+[char] open the
application menu, but pressing and releasing Alt doesn't do anything. Does this
behavior vary depending on the window manager? Also, if F10 isn't supposed to
open the system menu, couldn't we fix Wine so that F10 opens the application
menu?
