Yeah, that was the idea. Apparently the 7900 and 7800 are really the same
hardware - so the game detecting the "wrong" card should be fine (the patch
shouldn't really be necessary).  I'm going to guess that this is a driver or
X11 problem, could you run "nvidia-settings --version" and "Xorg -version" in a
terminal and give me the results?
